How do I take dress measurements?
  1. Bust: measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level.
  2. Natural waist: measure at the narrowest part of your torso or the crease where you bend sideways.
  3. Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips while standing with feet together.
  4. Compare all three measurements with the clothing brand’s own chart. Choose the size that accommodates your largest fitting measurement.
Why can the same dress size fit differently?
  1. Sizing is not universal. Country conversions are approximate, and cut, fabric stretch, and brand grading all affect fit.
  2. For a fitted or non-stretch dress, prioritise the bust, waist, and hip measurements rather than the label alone.

For general guidance only. Size standards differ between brands and styles; check the retailer’s measurements before purchasing.
