Measure a finger or a well-fitting ring to find an approximate ring size.

Find an approximate ring size from finger circumference or diameter.

For circumference, wrap a strip of paper comfortably around your finger and measure its length. For diameter, measure straight across the inside of a well-fitting ring.

How do I measure my finger?
  1. Measure near the end of the day when your hands are at a comfortable temperature.
  2. Wrap a thin non-stretch strip of paper around the finger where you will wear the ring. Do not pull it tight.
  3. Mark where the strip overlaps, flatten it, and measure the length in millimetres. This is your finger circumference.
  4. Check that your chosen size can pass comfortably over the knuckle. Repeat twice for consistency.
How do I measure an existing ring?
  1. Use a ring that already fits the intended finger.
  2. Measure straight across the INSIDE of the ring through its centre, without including the metal band. Enter the inside diameter, preferably in millimetres.
  3. For wide bands, valuable rings, or measurements between sizes, visit a jeweller for professional sizing.

For general guidance only. Size standards differ between brands and styles; check the retailer’s measurements before purchasing.
